Who we are
Everstep Learning provides one-to-one maths tuition in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and your choices, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
- About you: your name, phone number and email.
- About your child: name, age, school year, school or syllabus, maths level, worksheet scores and times, and lesson notes.
- For home lessons: your address.
Why we collect it
- To assess your child and choose the right starting level.
- To plan lessons, track progress and send you updates.
- To match your child with a tutor and arrange lessons.
- To contact you about your child's learning and fees.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only Everstep and the tutor(s) assigned to your child. If a tutor changes, the new tutor receives your child's learning record so their progress continues.
Photos and videos
We never post a photo, video or work of your child without your written consent, and we never show a child's face together with their full name or school. You can ask us to remove content at any time.
How long we keep it
While your child is learning with us, and for [12 months] afterwards in case you return. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your family's data, or withdraw consent, at any time. Message us on WhatsApp or email us and we'll respond within [21 days].
