Every child can be good at maths, with the right next step.
Everstep was started by a maths tutor who saw the same thing again and again: children who thought they were "bad at maths" were usually just practising at the wrong level.
Hi, I'm Yin Kai.
[DRAFT. Rewrite this in your own voice before publishing.] I've been tutoring maths since 2023, teaching children from as young as 3 up to 18. Over that time I noticed that the children who improved most weren't the ones with the longest lessons. They were the ones who practised a little every day, at exactly the right level.
I also saw what happens when a tutor leaves: families start from scratch with someone new, and months of progress go with them.
Everstep is built to fix both. Every child practises a little every day at the right level, every lesson is planned and recorded, and if a tutor ever has to stop, the next one picks up exactly where they left off.
One step every day. That's the whole idea.
